-BFA in Graphic Design required.
- Minimum of 5+ years packaging graphic design experience in a toy, juvenile product or related consumer product industry necessary.
Expertise with Macintosh based graphic programs, specifically Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Quark Xpress.
- Proven success working with typography, logo design, photo direction and color printing processes.
- Experience in packaging industry and/or collateral material, web technology and structural development.
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
- Strong organization and communication skills required.
Preferred skill set includes:
1.Technical expertise for design and execution of package files using Adobe CS2. Should be proficient using clipping paths, layer masks, and have the ability to work with complex multi-layered files.
2.Design ability – able to apply design skills to follow existing packages and adapt design to alternative formats. This is not template work, nor does it mean following a style guide.
3.Project Management – ability to handle multiple projects at varying stages of development
4.Package Experience – ability to comprehend 3d situations and multiple package components. Ability to manage branding and communication aspects of design.
5.Professional Experience – ability to work independently, as well as with multi-functional team under direction of art director and senior graphic designers.
