Animal Shelter Manager - No kill shelter: Knowledge of and experience in small animal handling, training, feeding and care required. Excellent customer relations skills, ability to work in a team environment and managerial experience are essential. Good organizational skills, attention to detail and creativity are necessary. Proficiency in MSWord, MSExcel, email and internet essential. Vet tech. training or experience and/or experience working in an animal sheltering enviornment very helpful. Duties include some heavy lifting, bending, independent thinking and problem solving. 40 hours/week schedule. Weekend and holiday shifts required.
