Advocate-Domestic Violence- Full-time position. Responsible for assessing domestic violence situations among welfare recipients to make recommendations to DHS for welfare program exemptions. Required: BA/BS or equivalent experience, excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, general computer knowledge, and sensitivity to the needs of those affected by domestic abuse. Bilingual (English & Spanish or Portuguese) preferred. The position also requires travel throughout the State of Rhode Island; therefore, a reliable working vehicle is a must.
