Psychological Centers

At Psychological Centers Home Based Therapeutic Services, our mission is to help families create meaningful, long-lasting change in the lives of their children with special behavioral health care needs. For change to take place, families must be involved, every step of the way. As a behavioral assistant, you would work with a team of professionals to help families actively engage in the treatment process. Your comprehensive training will allow you to support families in setting goals, learning new skills, and managing their child’s behaviors and needs. Your guidance helps guide families’ children to reach their potential.

We encourage all qualified candidates to apply to both our HBTS and EOS programs. Individuals with prior experience and/or who have majored in fields such as social work, human services, psychology, education and special education are also encouraged to inquire. Hours are part time and are usually in the mornings and afternoons. Limited hours are available for individuals currently in school. all who are employed must be available both Thursday or Fridays mornings for weekly trainings and supervision.

Job Duties:
• Helping to implement a Treatment Plan that is developed by the Psychological Centers team and the child's family.
• Keeping data and progress notes on Treatment Plan goals.
• Providing information to the family on treatment techniques, goals, etc.
• Receiving in-home supervision from the Clinical Supervisor approximately 3 times month
• Attending office-based supervision with Clinical Supervisor at least once per month
• Attending regular training sessions to learn empirically supported skills and techniques
