Felix Fernandes, resident of Lincon and a member of the Young Republicans of RI will be hosting the next Ocean State 38 at his home on November 14th from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM. The Ocean 38 is a systematic fundraising program that seeks to locate one individual (or one fundraising team) in each of the State's 38 senate districts, who is willing to raise funds from his/her area for the benefit of the RIGOP. State Central Committee Meeting Update:
The Middletown GOP committee will be hosting the last State Central Committee meeting of the year on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at the Middletown Courtyard by Marriot located at 9 Commerce Drive, Middletown, RI. Take Northgate Road West off Rt. 114, West Main Road, Middletown. The sign-in will be from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Meeting call to order 7:00 pm. Please note: Executive Meeting will be meeting prior t the meeting at 6:00PM at the same location as the State Central meeting. Meeting notice will be emailed on Monday 11/9.

RI Secretary of State A. Ralph Mollis announced the special election will be taking place on Tuesday, December 29, 2009.
Resident must be registered by November 28th in order to vote in the general election.
