that 13% only counts the amount of people that are collecting ! how about the small self empoyed contractors? there are hundreds of guys out there every day looking for work,they dont collect unemployment,so they dont count in this world!how many people out there know a contractor that is busy right now?i bet not to many.or the ones that did not have enough working weeks on the payroll to be eligable for the benefits?take a look at the craigslist skilled trade services adds!you will see hundreds of guys there everyday trying to find some sort of work to feed the family!the housing crissis wiped out most of every ones equity in thier home,so no more lines of credit and no more 2nd mortgages,and that means no more money to build the garages and new family rooms and new kitchens.that leaves alot of unemployed small contractors out in the cold!the big contractors are staying busy because all the work they do is govt funded and always have an endless budget.how about all the small deli,s and lunch spots that all the contractors would go have lunch at in the afternoons?all the ones i go to are not even doing half the business they were doing 2 yrs ago47% of the realtors never even bothered to renew the license last year.guys that are able to build complete houses are looking for jobs repairing a broken fence or fixing a broken gutter all over you will find 20 guys for every 1 job that needs to be done!where is the bail out money every one keeps asking?it is being spent,the problem is not where is it? but is it enough? not even close to enough is 800 billion not even close to fix this mess 10x that would be needed before the small guy would ever feel a change!every one wanted obama and wanted change!!! well we got change alright,change in our pocket is all we have left,but not obamas fault he walked into a pile of shit and now he has to walk around with the stink on his shoe!!! in 1931 hoover though the mess would fix itself also! boy was he wrong!
