Fully functioning and still inspiring, this period piece may have been built sometime in the early 20th century, and may be considered antique. I have had it about 45 years and believe it is a Dietzgen table. It has old paint stains on it but the paint has not been analyzed. The table stands firmly and does not wobble. It tilts to a comfortable angle and is adjustable in height.
Its angle is adjustable from very steep vertical to horizontal. The height is also adjustable so you can work standing or sitting. Working area is 42.5”x 31.5”. Cleaned of paint, what seems to be the same table sells online for $1750.
Can be picked up in East Providence, RI, or Westport, MA, or can be delivered nearby (add $30).
