Federal Civil Defense Dept. human blood transport container. Federal Civil Defense Department existed from 1950-1958. I got it about 40 years ago to use as a cooler for a Halloween party. Piece is in pretty good condition. My son used it as a nightstand so the top is a little worn. Covering is torn on the underside. The insulation has a little bit of a rubbery smell. It needs some cleaning up but a pretty cool piece.
