For your consideration is a large vintage Rockport School oil painting. This original Mid-Century harbor scene was completed on canvas, it was left unsigned by the artist. I am estimating the painting to be from the 1950's-1970's time period. This painting is in very good vintage condition. Under a black light it shows no signs of paint loss, in-painting or repair.

As mentioned, this is a fairly large painting. Unframed the painting measures 30" in height x 35" wide and together with the original hardwood frame (possibly walnut) it measures 35" x 40". The handsome vintage frame is in overall good condition with some very minor abrasions consistent with its age. This large vintage Rockport School harbor scene oil painting will make for a welcome addition to your collection!
