Welcome. For your consideration is an original oil and graphite abstract painting by New York City artist Xanda McCagg (1959-). This dynamic abstract was completed on canvas and signed and dated on the back canvas, Xanda 2003. This painting is in excellent condition. Under a black light it shows no signs of paint loss, in-painting or repair.
Like all of Xanda's original paintings that are sold, large or small, this canvas is being sold without a frame. I believe the artist intends for her work to be displayed in this manner but you can certainly frame it up if that is your preference. The canvas measures 18" wide and 24" in height. The stretcher bars have a depth of 1 1/2". This original abstract by Xanda McCagg is an excellent example of her work, it will make for a welcome addition to your collection!
