Updated photos! This Tall semi-vintage Trek is a nice Mens bike ready to be ridden again! It has been sitting around for a while! I believe that the original color was charcoal, but this bike was purposely distressed to look like it had very little value. Unfortunately, sometimes owners of bicycles purposely do that so that their bike doesn’t look like it would be worth anything to steal. Most of the brand name and the model name is rubbed off. The size of the bike is totally rubbed off and some other important information that you would normally see on a Trek Bike is all distressed. But, it is a great bike - rides very well. Has a really nice Gel seat for comfort. It has road tires ( 700 x 32) on it and the main attraction is that it is tall! Is definitely for a person who is in the 6 foot to 6 1/2 feet tall range! Aluminum frame. I believe that the brakes are linear-pull brakes. I did some research on it and I believe that the first year the FX 7.5 was made was in 2007 and it was made for about a decade so I’m estimating through 2017.
I took measurements of it trying to gauge what size bike it would be. So it is 23 inches long from the handlebars post to the seat post (the top tube). It is 25 inches long on the vertical bar (the down tube) that goes from the crankshaft to the handlebars post (the head tube). From the ground or floor up to the top bar ( the top tube) is 32 inches high. I’m guessing that it would be considered a 23 inch frame, but I really am not sure. I have a friend who is 6‘4“ tall and he had the bike in his possession for a while and rode it a few times and found it to be very comfortable with a raised seat!
This Trek bike is a very decent bicycle that probably retailed in the $500+ price range!
