This Pack Rat is mostly original, wheels to rack, except for a handlebar conversion from the original Tiagra drop bar setup to this Microshift/Tektro setup with Nitto Albatross cromoly handlebars.

2x10 Tiagra drivetrain with 170mm cranks. Tektro canti brakes. Surly 8-pack rack. 26x1.5 Panaracer tires and plenty of clearance to go wider or run fenders. Decals removed for clean anonymous look, keep it that way or grab a set of decals from your local Surly shop.

Spent some time trying to get the perfect fit out of this bike but it was never the rider's first choice so it saw very few miles. Time for us to move on, we would love to see somebody score their dream commuter/tourer. Will throw in the original drop bars and Tiagra brifters, still wrapped with cables uncut, in case you're interested in experimenting with the setup. Happy to meet up in Providence or on the East Bay Bike Path for your test ride. $1000 obo.
