Gormully & Jeffery Rambler, circa 1901 ish. CB 700c Italia rims, Brampton front hub, S/A AWP 3 speed rear with coaster brake, Pre War Lauterwasser handlebar with extremely rare lugged curved stem, leather handlebar mounted water bottle holder, real wood grips, Boxkar 3 speed shifter with the obligatory skull shift knob and matching valve stem covers, Selle Italia H leather saddle, Chater Lea 52t chainring with Stronglight crank arms, Frankenstein cottered bottom bracket, red powder coated blood red with gloss black hand painted lugs gold lug lined with some prewar rose flower transfers applied and clear coated with Valspar marine varnish. Rear 28t cog hand made from stainless steel with heart cut outs. Couldn’t find a Rambler headtube badge for less than a billion $$ so screwed a wheelie poppin Johnny Lightning Rambler (1959?) on a little wood surfboard and mounted on the handlebar. Local pickup in Rhode Island. Come to Newport, get some clam cakes 'n chowda and a bike!
