Selling my Huck-style custom 72V e-bike. This is a project bike being sold as-is — it currently does not run due to wiring issues, so please read carefully.
When it was running, it was an absolute blast — tons of torque, smooth ride, unique styling, and real motorcycle feel with pedals. Unfortunately, the previous owner modified it poorly, and the main wiring harness burned/melted where it was tapped together. I don’t have the time or experience to rewire it safely, so I’m letting it go.
What’s Good:
• 72V battery pack (blue case, large capacity) – appears to hold charge
• Powerful rear hub motor (plenty of speed and torque when it worked)
• Huck-style frame with motorcycle styling (unique and eye-catching)
• Front and rear suspension (dual coil-over shocks in back, motorcycle-style front forks)
• Disc brakes
• Motorcycle-style seat and tank cover
• Digital display / throttle setup
• Rolling chassis is solid and rideable
What’s Wrong:
• Main wiring harness near the battery melted (bad connections from prior owner)
• Needs complete rewire with proper gauge wire & connectors (Anderson/XT90 recommended)
• Aftermarket ignition is a cheap scooter-style key switch — not ideal for high-voltage systems
• Bike will not power on in its current state
• Unknown if the controller was damaged when wires melted (battery and motor appear physically fine)
This is a project for someone comfortable with e-bike wiring or willing to part it out.
Value in Parts Alone:
• Battery: $300–$700 (if confirmed healthy)
• Motor: $400–$800
• Frame: $300+
• Controller & electronics: variable
Asking: $800 OBO for the whole bike. Open to offers.
No trades. Cash only.
Bring a truck or van — it’s the size/weight of a small motorcycle.
