Two Salty Dogs is a classic Trojan F32 powerboat.
We have made numerous upgrades to keep the vessel in good condition and report that all systems are in working order.
Two Salty Dogs is a classic Trojan F32 powerboat.
The boat was re-powered 3 years ago. The original smaller 220hp motors were replaced with bigger SeaMax 5.7L PCM motors rated at 275hp each. These engines are FWC where the original engines in F32s are typically raw water.
The cabin has also benefited from updates with a new sleeper sofa in the main salon, new upholstery and new carpets. The galley has been updated with modern countertops and a newer fridge.
The head is forward to port. It is good sized and includes a shower. Hot water is supplied by a newer 12-gallon water heater installed by the current owner. The opposite is a dinette with clean and comfortable cushions. Forward is the large vee berth with storage and hanging locker. The berth fills in with a board and matching cushion.
The aft cockpit is good sized and comfortable. Shade is provided by a frame and canvas mounted to the house. The bridge is accessed by a ladder to port. The bridge has two swivel chairs and seating ahead of the helm for 3-4. Instruments are basic and dated. Both the upper and lower helm are functional
The vessel is in good condition and operates well. There are a couple of fixed glass panels with cracks, but not water stains or sign of leaks were observed.
Engines start easily and run smoothly.
Newer FWC engines installed. Newer hot water tank. A new sound system with Pioneer BT stereo/ hands-free phone installed 2018.
All scheduled maintenance is up to date per owner.
