1992 14' Novurania RIB
- Novurania's have a great reputation of well made RIBS.
- Recently replaced Valves from MSI in Portsmouth, RI.
- Only used 4x a year since purchase on 6/1/18.
- Kept out of all elements in a temperature controlled garaged year round.
- Dry-sailed (no bottom paint) and always fresh water rinsed after every haul out.
- It's extremely stable w/ deep V and stepped fiberglass hull at high speeds and tight turns.
- Large Tubes and good bow angle provide great spray control.
- "Interlux" Gray Non-Skid Deck last painted (9/1/24).
- Boat and Engine weight 620lbs.
- Danforth Anchor w/Yellow Float and 72' of Anchor Rode rarely used and in excellent condition.
- Portable Red and Green LED Bow Light included.
- Mounted PVC Tube for Fishing Rod, Gaff, LED Light, Flag or etc.
- (2) Bow Locker Boards. (1) Painted - Gray, Wood. (1) White King Starboard.
- (2) Deck Beckson Plates thread smoothly and were routinely sealed with Vaseline.
- The boat is rated for a 50hpr.
- RIB has a "capacity" of 7, but can definitely handle more.
- Open interior would make a great work, coach, party or all around dinghy for the harbor/bay.
- Included are extra accessories/parts.
2009 Mercury 30hp EFI 4 Stroke outboard.
- Well maintained and rare Tiller w/ Throttle and Gear Selector for great control and sitting position.
- Gas Assist Tilt for easy Lifting and Lowering.
- It's very quiet, incredibly efficient and requires very low maintenance.
- I weight 220, it gets on plane quickly and have been tracked on GPS at 25knts.
- I have only (1) Service Record from Conanicut Marine in 6 years for a Thermostat replacement on 7/31/19.
- Lower Unit Oil, Air Filter, Spark Plugs and Motor Oil serviced routinely.
- Has a Steering Tensioner Bar (red handle)
- Interior of Cowling is spotless.
- Starts every time with one pull when warm and two times when cold.
- Fresh water flushed after every use
- Water pump streams.
- Has a Quick Shut Off on Tiller Grip and Kill Cord Switch, allowing to start and stop without a Kill Cord for maintenance.
- Has a Gear Disengage Throttle Button on Starboard Side for revving.
- New prop upgraded 9/12/20
- New Fuel Line as of 7/18/25
NOTE: 3 weeks ago (July 29) the Tubes were fine. Now there is a slow leak in Port Aft Tube. The Starboard tube has a separation of seam where Transom Cone meets Tube. My original price (before tube issue) was $6,500. I am shaving off $1,000 for the Tube Repair and asking $5,500, which I am sure covers the cost to repair.
"Karavan" Extendable Bunk style Trailer with LED Lights, and Tire and "Smith" Guides.
- Purchased from Newport Nautical Supply on 7/3/2020 for $1,064. It's registered, but needs renewal. Expired 4/30/23 and is only $17.50 to do so.
- The Guides have LED Red Rear and Amber Forward Marker Lights for easier night use. The Guides are great for easy solo splashing/hauling, esp. with a beam-wind to keep the boat centered on bunks.
- Amber Tongue Marker LED Lights.
- Guides were purchased and installed after trailer from West Marine on 7/9/22.
- Custom made singular Orange Ratchet Strap w/ Rubber Hose Sleeve and Aluminum Rivets to protect wear on strap.
- I only used it to store the boat and roll two blocks away at Elm St. Pier. No off-road, beach or highway use!
- Trailer Jack Rises and Lowers smoothly.
- Winch works smoothly.
- Trailer kept on blocks (to take pressure off tires for long off-season).
- King Starboard plate was added on retracted Trailer Tongue to protect keel to fit in my garage.
- Wheel Bearings are smooth and were greased 1/year.
- LED Light Wiring connection it good (Flat 4).
- White Trailer Tongue Handle is bolted on for ease of maneuvering.
- Title and notarized Bill of Sale in file.
- "Fast Freddy Custom Canvas" Cover. Purchased 8/22/18. After purchase, I installed quick-release hooks to make removing and stowing easier. Comes with Padded Saw Horse to keep "Tent" profile to shed elements.
- 6 Gallon V-Shaped Bow Fuel Tank keeps the deck wide open for plenty of gear/people and boat well balanced when at speed.
- I have all previous owner, sales and maintenance paperwork.
- The engine is ready to run at my place.
- Bill of Sale is ready for you to fill out and take away!
Sad to see this great rig go, but I need to upgrade to a larger RIB.
