Likely one of the best condition Windrose 24s in existence, structurally at least. Maybe not cosmetically. Classic swing-keel cruiser designed by Shad Turner. Berths for six: v-berth double, dinette converts to a double, starboard settee, and starboard quarter berth. Ready to sail (used it this past season), though it could use some cosmetics, especially interior.
All standing rigging, including turnbuckles replaced in 2021. Deck penetrations potted with epoxy (except for a couple cleats remaining). All swing keel hardware replaced in 2021: pivot bolt, lock bolt, lift bolt, and cable guide bolt. Lifting cable replaced with 8500 lb capacity synthetic. Original 1200 lb keel winch replaced with 2000 lb worm drive winch. All electrical wiring replaced with tinned marine-grade, all lighting (interior and navigation) updated to LED.
Includes 2-stroke 5HP Mercury Sail Power outboard which will push it about 6 knots in calm conditions. Main and 125% jib included. Both are usable, though the main has a few patches. Interior cushions are original white vinyl that has yellowed, and there are a few rust and epoxy stains from over the years.
Have title for boat and registration for trailer. Trailer is registered as homemade since it is too old to have a VIN (probably the factory original trailer). The boat weighs 2400 lbs and the trailer is likely a few hundred lbs, so it can be easily towed by anything with a 3500 lb towing capacity; probably even 3000 lb. Selling because it's more boat than I need at this point in my life. Make an offer.
