This is a very large floral still life painting by Robert Cox. (1934-2001) The subject is his specialty - flowers in a vase.
This oil painting is in a frame 42.5" x 30.5" overall size. The frame is Made in Mexico and is solid wood and has several different shades of gold in it. Frame is included - a very valuable addition to this piece.
The canvas that the work is done on is 36" x 24". This oil painting was professionally framed. The flowers in the painting are peach, cream, and pink. There is one vase in this painting - it is a yellow ochre color. There are lots of delightful impasto leaves and flowers.
This particular example is one of the largest and most detailed paintings by Robert Cox.
