POSITION: Line Cook
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality meals to our members.
JOB SUMMARY:
Alpine Country Club hosts an upscale Private dining room serving Italian based cuisines to members and their guests. We strive to deliver exciting yet familiar dishes. During the summer season the club is in full swing with Golf tournaments, Banquet Style Events, and member events, and pool side dining.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Line cooks are responsible for the daily preparation & Execution of dishes. Line Cooks are also responsible for cleaning equipment and kitchen during shifts. Line Cook responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards.
• Handling food products safely, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies
• Demonstrate excellent knife skills and cooking techniques for various types of cuisine.
• Provide support during catering events, ensuring all meals are prepared to specifications.
• Setting up and breaking down workstation
• Executing service day of function
• Cleaning equipment, Tabletops, floors, general kitchen areas
• Organizing storage units
Pre-Employment:
• All employees hired will be required to perform a one day stage
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, & REQUIREMENTS
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and Professional practices.
• 2+ years of kitchen experience
• Serve Safe Food Handlers Certification
• Must keep a clean work area
• Available to work weekends, weekdays, & Nights
• Reliable Transportation
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
• Familiarity with meal preparation and food handling techniques
• A passion for cooking and creating exceptional dining experiences for guests
Pay rate $21-$25 Depending on experience
