These antique, Bentley Wilson snowshoes are traditional wood snowshoes crafted in Camden New York United States during the mid-20th century. These were in very long term storage and I’ve only dry wiped a bit. I’m certain that a light wet cleaning will reveal the magnificent build quality further. The frames are in excellent condition (ash wood I believe ) and the lacings of moose, deer, caribou and later cowhide can easily be repaired with rawhide available online.
Being of such a large size they will command attention when mounted in just about any environment. Not easily found and certainly not at the price requested. Thank you for looking.
