My Key West features a Swiss ETA 2824-2 automatic movement, sapphire crystal, stainless
steel bracelet, stainless steel case which is complemented by a rotating blue bezel ring and black dial,
and date display at 3 o'clock. Good readability is a key feature of quality Swiss watches; to ensure
this, even in the dark, Grovana uses SLC1 Superluminova. The luminous material is integrated on the
hands, index markers, and 0-minute marker which makes them glow in dark surroundings.
Purchased pre-owned in 2016, but since I now wear my Apple Ultra 2, this watch doesn't get much
wrist time and just sits in its' watch winder. This Key West is powered by a Swiss ETA 2824-2, which
typically cost between $200 and $340 for the movement ALONE, instead of the currently manufactured
Grovanas that now utilize the less expensive Sellita SW200 movement. Never submerged or subjected
to extreme conditions, but worn daily for years, thus showing normal signs of use. Sized to my 7 1/2 inch
wrist + 1 inch for dive extension.
