Art Deco / industrial vanity or dressing table from Simmons Furniture by Norman Bel Geddes. This was part of his Moderne line. Piece is in pretty good used condition. There is a large area of peeled paint on the top, likely some sort of alcohol or acetone spilled on it. There are a number of other small nicks and scratches, but the top is the worst. There are two bigger dents in the top, but I think they could be pressed out by hand. The original aluminum pulls are a little tarnished but are easily removed to polish. The glass top fits but I don't know if it is original. Glass top has a couple of small chips on the edges. 8-33 is stamped on the back and I assume it is a production date. The matching dresser has the same date.

I have the matching dresser I will be listing separately.

I have 2 other Bel Geddes dressers I may strip to bare metal and clearcoat when time allows.
