Modernist Chrome / wood chandelier the style of Gaetano Sciolari A70 - $400 (Northern RI)

Is this a Gaetano Sciolari? Likely no. Is it a sleek modernist look without the Italian designer pricetag? Youbetcha. Light is in excellent vintage condition. One of the tubular shades / globes is cracked as I show in the photos. I hung it with the crack upwards because I was afraid the spring-loaded holder would damage it, I could be wrong and it could be flipped over. These are available on-line. Black paint has a few little scuffs and a few of the other tubes have little chips at the ends. It is working as i show in the photos but is also at least 50 years old so it should be thoroughly checked out before installing. It's a great looking light.
