For campfires, out-door fire pits and the like were selling Softwood and grade B Hardwood. The latter of the two are pieces that are not of suitable quality for burning indoors. For instance, they may have a bug hole or punk. Regardless of the desired type, a cord of outdoor firewood is sold for $180 (plus delivery), a half cord goes for $100 and a load (just under a half cord) for $80.
The indoor burning seasoned wood is mixed Hardwood not only comprised of the higher BTU species', but of superb quality. There's no punk, bug holes or rotten wood featured in this category. In fact, its put through a "shaker", which is a machine that removes dirt, debris, detritus and the like. There's virtually no bark on the wood for this category. Yes, $280 per cord plus delivery is high, but after the wood is dumped there's practically very little dirt.
Regardless of the type you choose, we guarantee honest complete cords with no punches pulled (i.e. no miss-guiding tricks). Not only do we take a picture of the wood whilst put into the delivery vehicle before before the customer receives it, this enterprise is overseen by an accredited Forester and made up of the majority being certified Arborist in the state of Rhode Island.
A slight delivery fee may apply, and multiple cord discounts are available. None the less, the buyer can take comfort in the fact that he or she is getting what they pay for. Analogy: if you want cheap fish go to a fast food restaurant, if you want good fish Galilee is the spot.
