Introducing a special opportunity to work with a middle-aged, quadriplegic, Christian gentleman, who lives in Cumberland, RI. He may be physically limited due to a neuromuscular disorder from birth & have an inoperable injury from a car accident 7-years-ago, but his mind is as sharp as ever! He's a highly intelligent, good-hearted, Christian gentleman with a 💛 of gold, & he's looking for someone like you to assist him.
Days / Hours Needed:
— Text for info!
— Total of 31 hours per week available!
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
— Running errands, i.e.: grocery shopping &/or Pharmacy.
— Assisting with meal &/or snack prep + feeding him.
— Bathroom assistance, (no catheter or colostomy bags).
— Housework &/or laundry tasks.
— Assist & remind him to take his medication(s) as needed.
What You'll Need To Know:
— Applicants must pass a mandatory nationwide criminal background check is required by RI Medicaid.
— Applicants must speak & understand English — (the client is hard of hearing, & cannot understand broken English or heavy accents)
— The client is a medical marijuana patient, but he only vapes, so there's no smell or 2nd-hand smoke.
Pay & Perks:
— Pay's: $19.40/hour!
— Get paid more than the average Hosp or Nursing Home, & you'll only have 1 client, instead 10-15!
— Lots of downtime, a perfect opportunity for college students &/or people who enjoy reading or playing on their phones!
— No prior experience required – fresh perspectives are welcomed!
