LF Pease Co. is seeking a dependable Awning Installer Helper to assist with the installation of residential and commercial awning systems. No prior experience is required, as hands-on training will be provided. This is an outdoor position working at various residential and commercial job sites throughout the region.
Daily responsibilities include assisting the senior installer with installing retractable awnings and fixed window awnings, attaching fabric to welded awning frames, installing motors on motorized awning systems, and preparing materials and tools for installation. The installer helper will also assist with loading and unloading equipment and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Applicants should be comfortable working with common hand and power tools such as drills, socket wrenches, hammers, pliers, and screwdrivers. The position requires climbing ladders, lifting to 50 pounds, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (40 hours per week). Overtime may be available.
