NEED HELP BUYING/MEASURING FOR POOL COVER (PLAINVILLE)

No water in it just leaves..lots of leaves.
Looking to just cover it the most cost effective way...and in hopes that it stays solid in the snow and weather over the years.
See pics...its large L shaped...don't want to fill in it..the new owners down the road may want to rehab it..this seems to be the best thing to do.
Please email me with your suggestions and experience...I need help sizing it out, picking the best type of cover, ordering then installing it...I live in Plainville MA
