We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our logistics team in East Greenwich. The primary role is to inspect and document merchandise before it is shipped out to international destinations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the inventory matches the shipping records and that everything is in perfect condition before the containers are sealed.
Key Responsibilities:
Physical Inspection: Verify all merchandise against packing lists, checking unit counts, carton quantities, and pallet IDs.
Photo Documentation: Use a smartphone or tablet to take clear photos of every SKU, pallet, and container seal to ensure quality control.
Digital Reporting: Upload all photos and inspection data to a shared Google Drive in real-time.
Loading Oversight: Monitor the entire loading process at the warehouse to ensure cargo is handled correctly and documentation is accurate before it is sent off.
Compensation & Schedule:
Pay: $20.00 per hour.
Hours: Flexible schedule, up to 20-24 hours per week.
Location: Various warehouse and loading facilities in the Providence/East Greenwich area.
Requirements:
Tech Savvy: Must be comfortable using a smartphone/tablet and Google Drive.
Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately cross-reference complex lists of SKUs and labels.
Safety First: Must have or be willing to wear steel-toed boots and a high-visibility vest while on-site.
