COMMERCIAL FURNITURE SALES REPRESENTATIVE


Lorimer Studios seeks a Commercial Furniture Sale Representative to support our growing custom woodworking business. The Commercial Furniture Sale Representative ensures that clients receive customer service beyond expectations, and that new clients are prospected and brought in to further the growth of the company.

A Commercial Furniture Sale Representative will be responsible for monitoring the commercial customer experience from sale through project completion and beyond. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a commercial furniture sales environment, be highly organized, driven and have very strong communication skills.

The target accounts will include restaurants, hotels and offices. The Commercial Furniture Sale Representative will create relationships with facility principles, designers and architects.

The position will report to Lorimer Studios senior management.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Services and develops existing commercial accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts.
The Commercial Furniture Sale Representative will work closely with our inside sales /customer service and project management personnel.
The Commercial Furniture Sale Representative responds to sales inquiries. Visits firms to present Lorimer Workshop and builds relationships.
Attends industry and networking events.
Conducts Market and Sales Analyses when appropriate.
Adjusts content of sales presentations by market segment.
Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, techniques, etc.
Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Provides historical records by maintaining data on area and customer sales.
