Someone tried to steal it but they only managed to walk it around the corner before they got caught and then they tossed the bike down and it got messed up on the left side. They messed up the fairings, bar ends, shift lever, and mirror.
Insurance said it was a total loss but the only mechanical thing I had to replace was the shift lever. Fairings were replaced with a replica Nice Cycle set.
Clear OEM windscreen and a smoked one will come too.
I have the ORIGINAL title, 2 keys, book, and the OEM tool kit.
Bike starts and rides as it should. Fork seals are starting to leak and could use new brake pads. I changed the oil last summer and winterized the fuel.
I thought I had to get a salvage title after it was stolen but I don't because the age and the fact that the insurance company didn't retain the bike.
