About This Piano
This 1952 Steinway Model B was originally sold by Avery Piano Co. and has now returned home for a full, no-compromise restoration. After many years with its original family, the instrument has been meticulously rebuilt in our Providence workshop and is now ready for its next chapter.
Over the past 12 months, our senior technicians have restored this piano using the highest-quality materials and traditional methods, preserving the character of the original instrument while bringing its performance to a modern concert standard.

Restoration Details
The original spruce soundboard was in excellent condition and has been carefully restored and refinished, preserving its tonal integrity. The plate has been refinished and bronzed, with proper downbearing maintained.
A new Bulduc pinblock ensures long-term tuning stability, paired with Mapes strings and premium tuning pins. The action has been completely rebuilt with genuine Steinway components and carefully voiced to achieve a balanced, expressive tone.
