Late 1950s Gretsch black nitron rewrap by Anthony Defusco at the very reputable Village Drum in RI.
14x20- 3 ply original except wrap and hoops have been painted . No pratt muffler . Holes were plugged with wood
8x12- 3 ply original except new Gretsch die cast hoops. The original hoops will be included, but you will need vintage calfskin heads for the original hoops to function.
14x14 -6 ply all original
4.5x14- 6 ply
all original except top hoop is a modern Gretsch die cast
14x18 bass drum- is a 90s Gretsch jasper shell set up to match the round badge era. repro spurs. Round badge and grommet added.
Some plugged holes in shell. Hoops were repainted.
consolette has unoriginal nuts and washers
no pratt muffler
shells and edges are original and beautiful .
silver sealer and no tags - 18” bass drum has a tag indicating a 90s era drum. see photos
wrap was done a few years ago and drums have been in my climate controlled house or in cases since that time.
hardware is in really really nice shape considering the drums are 60 plus years old. No rust. Very minimal pitting
all new coated ambassador heads with very little playing time. heads spin freely on all drums.
