REWRAP drum kit done by the very reputable Anthony DeFusco at Village Drum in RI. Silver sealer interiors. Drums are a solid 8-9 out of 10 . Wrap is tight/ shells are solid / no bearing edge issues / bearing edges are original / sound is superb. Beautiful drum kit that never left the house after the rewrapping was done. Lugs and chrome have no rust but some slight pitting ..but are in excellent condition for almost 70 year old drums.
All Remo ambassador heads are like new have a little wear on batter sides.
Tony Williams Black nitron with that great Gretsch sound.
Drums are less than half the price You would pay for a completely original kit.
12/14/4.5 are Late 50s with no paper tags.
14x18 BASS DRUM IS A 90s GRETSCH JASPER SHELL
8x12 Has Modern Gretsch die cast hoops. Drum is a 3 ply. The original hoops will be included with sale. Original hoops should work with vintage Calfskin heads
14x14 All original except wrap. 6 ply
4.5x14 All original except wrap. Top hoop is a modern Gretsch die cast hoop. 6 ply
14x18 is a 1990s Gretsch bass drum as tag indicates.
BASS DRUM IS SET UP AS A ROUND BADGE DRUM TO MATCH THE KIT. Drum is 6 ply. Original Tom mount and bass drum spur holes were plugged. Repro period correct Gretsch spurs installed along with a round badge/ grommet and period correct Rail mount with long spade. Bass drum hoops are 90s Gretsch and inlay channel was widened to achieve the period era correct inlay size. No pratt muffler. Hoops were repainted. See photos .
