AudioScape D3A La3a compressor clone Stereo Leveling Amplifier - $1,699

Comes with original packaging, power supply and IEC power cable, a printout of the introduction sheet and a printout of the FAQs which is essentially the manual.
AudioScape say the D3A is a 1 to 1 copy of the LA3A but in a 1U rack instead of the 2U tall rack. The product is discontinued in this format, but it is 2 of the AudioScape V3A Leveling Amplifier 500 series compressors inside a purpose built 500 rack. If you look inside you see they mounted 2x V3A 500 cards on their side and used a fixed faceplate with the writing and VU meters in the correct orientation. However, they also have additional channel 1 to channel 2 feed. This sends the output of channel 1 into channel 2 so you can quickly to series compression on 1 source. The feed feature is in addition and separate from the Stereo link, which is also supported.
AudioScape stuff has a reputation of being very accurate replicas using the highest quality parts including custom transformers and a custom T4b. I have a lot of AudioScape stuff and this one actually has the best enclosure. All their other enclosures are thinner metal. I much prefer this unit's metal build, but I have other LA3As so I simply don't need this one and want to free up some space and cost for other items. The compression sound is spot on though!
The original packaging is double boxed with the unit inside a plastic bag and side cutout foam. Very well packed.
