An amazing auditorium-sized mahogany guitar, made in the USA. Purchased new two years ago. Has since been set up by Mark Dobbyn of Retrofret and outfitted with a strap peg on the heel and an LR Baggs M1 passive soundhole pickup (with tail pin input), all installed by Nick at Holcomb Guitars. It's stage-ready and looks great. There are a couple of spots where there are impressions in the wood (near the tuning pegs, on the back, on the bottom front, and on the heel) most notably. Only the heel is anything I'd call "damage," which is likely from glancing off the wall when putting it back in its hanger at some point or another. I'd say this is Excellent, if not Near Mint/Like New. It comes with the case they sold it to me with (a "hard shell plush" semi-rigid case with backpack straps).
It's not getting the love it deserves, as I always go back to my first proper acoustic (a Guild that has been through hell and back), despite this Martin being better-playing and better sounding (slightly darker tone given the mahogany build, but extremely well-rounded - a great guitar for recording). Pains me a bit to part with it, but I simply don't need two acoustic guitars.
