I would like to replace my former partner in a Classic Rock Duo using professional background tracks I made in Digital Performer that I have used successfully for many years in several Duos. I began with Double Or Nothin’ back in the mid to late 90’s until about 2019, then I changed the name to Coppola Turner Overdrive to capitalize on my new partner’s following. That went until about 2017 and I took a break trying different things but decided that the Duo format is the best format to go with. With bands there are just too many people with too many potential issues that break the momentum of the band. In most of my Duos I did half or more of the lead vocals and maybe 30% of the guitar solos, but I did many of the intros.
I have well over 100 tracks, most being a cover of a number one single.Very often people would be surprised when they walked in expecting to see a band because the tracks and the musicianship were that good. I need a lead guitarist, and he/she would also need to sing half of the lead vocals. In the past we had the best luck using guitar pedals & going through the PA, this way we can monitor ourselves and have a faster setup.
