The Small Business Specialist is responsible for outreach to small businesses and for developing and supporting strategic operational goals, objectives and support for consultants engaged in delivering technical assistance services to small businesses. The Specialist must have broad knowledge, insight and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes. Must have the ability to apply the knowledge appropriately to diverse situations. Must have a basic understanding of lending and credit.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting. Three to five years experience in a similar position. Proficient in Word, Excel, business software.
