Located on the trendy west end of Providence, near highway and bus routes, this 10’ x 11’ foot room is available to a professional & responsible wellness practitioner. We are West Side Wellness, a massage and bodywork practice seeking to share space with someone with a complimentary skill set such as an acupuncturist, doula, counselor, etc. — someone whose work will enrich the resources we can provide to our clients.
We believe there's a lot of work to be done to decolonize the field of wellness. We therefore energetically encourage applications from people of color, LGBTQ people, neurodiverse people, disabled people, and members of other marginalized communities.
The room for rent is one out of 4 treatment rooms in a sunny, laid back office environment with high ceilings, unique furnishings, and kind people. The office entrance and client bathroom are handicap accessible.
We are an established business (over 15 years). Our active client list is over 3000; we will be happy to cross-refer folks if your work aligns with ours. Please check out our website, westsidewell.com, to see what kind of practice we run.
Rental includes use of common waiting area, client and staff bathrooms, and kitchen. Also includes wireless internet, trash and recycling removal, alarm system, heat and AC, electricity, water, kitchen and bathroom supplies, dishes and cutlery, coffee and tea. Street parking is available. Common areas are cleaned weekly; your room can be included for a fee. Additional negotiable extras are the use of our laundry machines, and furnishings for the rental room (massage table).
No space sharing or sub-sublet allowed. Must be quiet, respectful, professional, and get along well with our team. You and your clients must respect our office as a quiet, safe space. Must maintain any applicable licenses, as well as a liability insurance policy. Must consent to a background check. Subject to approval by building owner. Rental term is flexible: can be 6 or 12 months to start. First month and deposit due at sub-lease signing.
