Ferret Rescue Seeking Affordable Space to Continue Saving Lives (Providence)

Hello,
We are the Rhode Island Ferret Sanctuary, a small, nonprofit rescue dedicated to helping surrendered and abandoned ferrets receive the medical care, safety, and love they deserve. Our current lease is ending soon, and we are urgently searching for a new space to continue our mission.
We are looking to rent or lease a small, secure, indoor space suitable for a rescue environment.
Our needs are simple:
• Access to electricity (for lighting, fans/air circulation, and heat)
• A door with a secure lock
• At least one window
• Access to water is preferred but not required
About our rescue:
Ferrets come to us when families can no longer care for them or when they need medical attention. Each ferret is assessed, provided veterinary care, and either adopted into loving homes, placed in foster care, or remains with us if special care is required.
Our rescue is quiet, clean, and responsibly managed.
• Cleaning and sanitation are done daily
• Care is provided by dedicated owners and trained volunteers
• We take pride in maintaining a respectful, orderly space
• We have positive references available from previous landlords
We are willing to pay up to $250 per month and are happy to discuss lease terms that work for both parties.
This rescue exists because of compassion and the space we are searching for is not just a rental, but a lifeline. A safe room with light and warmth means the difference between uncertainty and hope for these animals.
