Asking price is $600 very firm cash, or $700 very firm cashapp/venmo/zelle/applepay. Add $100 if you’d like for me to reassemble the system and get it running with a trial version of unraid.
If you decide self-hosting isn’t for you, you can easily make the money back on RAM alone on eBay.
Sale does not come with tech support, but comes with my friendship and free guidance / advice / tips.

LGA-2011 v3 dual socket mobo. This came out of a Datto 2U server blade, I still have the chassis if the buyer wants it (SAS/SATA backplane still installed)
Motherboard is a rebranded Gigabyte MD70-HB0, and I flashed the latest bios from gigabyte. Comes with I/O shield. I mounted this in a ATX full tower with no issues, just had to remove a few standoffs from my full tower case to not touch the mobo.
The CPUs are dual Xeon E5 2630L v4s (10 cores 20 threads each cpu, so 20 cores and 40 threads total). Purposefully upgraded to these for the lower 55w tdp. Handled my unraid home server needs without a hitch.
RAM is running in a proper 8 channel config, 8 RDIMMS of 32GB DDR4 (2133mhz), 256GB total capacity.
Bonuses:
-as mentioned earlier, I have the complete 2U server blade chassis, 12 drive capacity. Its complete, with the 10k rpm fans, and SAS+SATA backplane
-FSP 80+ platinum server redundant PSU (2x 800w PSU)
-Upgraded the stock “blow through” cpu heat sinks, to heat sinks with fans on them (since I used this mobo in a full tower not the 2U chassis).
-throwing in 2 more untested RDIMMs of 32GB DDR4, if they both work that’s like $200 on eBay.
-a bunch of 1tb or 2tb 3.5” SATA and 400gb 2.5” SAS drives to help you get started
TRADES:
-Interested in handheld PCs + cash on your end (Legion Go S, ROG Ally, steam deck, etc) For example, ROG Ally Z1E + $300 cash
-will do a straight trade for two handheld PCs of any brand (steam deck, legion go, ROG Ally, etc)
-Will also entertain Ryzen am5 (so 7000+) ITX setup (CPU/Mobo/RAM), with or without cash on either end, based on system specs.
-for the credit card ballers, I will gladly do a straight trade for 2x18TB drives, preferably BNIB, but I will entertain used drives if you can provide receipt/proof of purchase….I would be a very happy camper with two more large drives in my current rig.
-straight trade for a 55”+ LG, Sony or Samsung OLED TV, specifically OLED. I will gladly add some cash on my end if the oled tv is less than 2 years old with proof of purchase
-I would straight trade for a m4 or m5 iPad Pro, 11” or 13”. Slightly open to adding cash on my end, based on spec.
-I’ve been curious about Mac mini’s, I’d do a straight trade for a m4 Mac mini, 24GB or more of ram.
-would also trade for a ryzen 5000 cpu plus cash on your end, depending on cpu (for example; Ryzen 5600x + 500 cash).
-VERY EAGER to obtain a ryzen 5700x3D or a 5800x3D, I can flex pretty heavily on my price for either cpu.
