This is my home. I will be away traveling. I love living here. I think anyone who lives here would enjoy it too.
The neighborhood couldn't be more walkable and lovely. Wayland Square is a seven-minute walk, with an abundance of cafes, yoga, restaurants, boutiques, cheese shop, bookstores, etc. It’s a very quiet and safe area. Close to Brown, RISD, many hospitals, the highway, and not a far drive to RI's beautiful beaches either!
This is a great opportunity for someone who:
Is renovating or for some other reason needs a place to live while in transition
Wants to check out living in Providence
Doing some kind of temporary work here, like a travel nurse
Here are the details of the place and what I am looking for in a subletter.
Entire unit, minus a couple of closets which I will use for storage, will be available.
You will have a bedroom with a queen-sized bed, an office/guest room with a twin daybed, kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom, balcony.
The bathroom has a small bathtub that is lovely for baths, if that is your thing.
I use the second bedroom as an office, so the place is set up beautifully for someone working at home.
There is a gorgeous balcony in the front that you will be able to enjoy during the summer as a second living room. I love it, you will too.
Mounted wall television with Netflix, etc. in the living room.
Hardwood floors
Dishwasher in kitchen
Gas stove
The washer-dryer is coin-operated in the basement.
A parking space is included.
WiFi available at no additional cost or set-up - works fine for someone working remotely
Pets are NOT allowed; please do not contact with pets, no matter what size your pet is!
Payment/Deposit:
$2400 a month, prorated
$1000 deposit required — will be returned two weeks after the end of sublease and inspection for possible damages.
What I am looking for:
Considerate, responsible, quiet, and trustworthy.
Ideally just one person or a couple. If it’s two people I want to feel comfortable with you both.
The place is fully furnished with care. I ask that you are careful with my belongings, rugs, etc.!
