We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to oversee maintenance operations at a residential community of over 106 units. This property is conveniently located near South Station in Boston, offering easy access to public transportation, major highways, and surrounding neighborhoods making it an ideal and accessible location.
This is a live-on-site opportunity, where the selected candidate will receive an onsite apartment (electricity not included) along with a $1,000 sign-on bonus.
In this hands-on leadership role, you will ensure the property remains safe, well-maintained, and inspection-ready while overseeing maintenance staff and third-party vendors.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise maintenance staff and third-party vendors
• Perform and oversee plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and work orders
• Prepare units for move-ins, move-outs, and inspections
• Oversee unit turns, capital projects, and seasonal maintenance
• Participate in an emergency on-call rotation (once per month)
• Manage inventory, vendor contracts, and maintenance logs
Qualifications:
• Strong multifamily or residential maintenance experience
• 3–5 years of supervisory experience required
• Broad technical skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
• Ability to respond to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation
• Valid driver’s license required
Compensation & Benefits:
