What You’ll Be Doing
As a Generator Technician, you’ll work in the field performing:
Preventative maintenance on generators (Kohler, Cummins, CAT, Generac, and more)
Inspection of engines, alternators, wiring, and control systems
Oil, filter, and routine service work
Minor repairs and component replacements
Troubleshooting using schematics and diagnostic tools
Digital work order completion via company-issued iPad
Communication with customers and internal service team
Participation in an on-call emergency response rotation
What We’re Looking For
Mechanical or electrical experience (automotive experience is relevant)
Familiarity with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment
Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot systems
Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
