Window Treatment Installer - installing blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, motorized window treatments, roman shades etc. Commercial and Residential projects.
We are seeking a skilled Installer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of various window treatment systems and equipment from blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, motorized systems , ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and customer satisfaction. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
Measure windows to determine the appropriate size and style of window treatments
Install a variety of window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, draperies, and motorized window coverings
Ensure that all installations are completed in a timely and professional manner
Communicate with clients to ensure that their needs and expectations are met
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Provide excellent customer service
Perform installations of window treatment systems according to specifications and guidelines.
Conduct thorough inspections of installed systems to ensure proper functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during or after installation.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Working on large scope commercial projects and residential.
Skills:
Basic carpentry skills and experience.
Handyman Experience.
Window Treatment installation experience, have installed blinds, shades, interior shutters etc
Power Tools
Ability to use a tape measure efficiently.
Technologically savvy with Phone App abilities for programming motorized shades.
Installing draperies, interior shutters, roller shades, various soft treatments.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
Familiarity with safety standards and practices in installation work.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience installing window treatments
Ability to read and interpret installation instructions and diagrams
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
