We are currently looking for a Class B CDL driver to support operations all over the Northeastern United States. This role is primarily about driving and deliveries, but it also requires some record keeping and pro-active schedule management for our fleet.
Primary responsibilities
• Drive crane trucks to site throughout the Northeastern United States
• Deliver material to site by pickup truck and/or towing 24’ flatbed trailers
• Deliver job trailers to site
• Proper logbook compliance per DOT regulations
• Fleet maintenance record keeping through fleet tracking software
• Proactively ensure fleet registrations, inspections, oil changes, and other preventive maintenance is done in a timely manner
• Coordinate with service providers on scheduling maintenance when appropriate
Qualifications
• Class B CDL minimum is required
• Extensive experience in towing/parking loaded trailers (including in New England weather)
• Basic computer skills like email, web browsing, completing online forms
• Expert listening and communication skills
• Positive, proactive, and helpful attitude
