Do you have experience with higher weight and want to help make weight research better and more effective? Miriam Hospital researchers are looking for YOU!
The Weight Control and Diabetes Research Center (WCDRC) is made of multiple researchers and their teams. These teams study many topics, from heart health to fitness technology or disordered eating. To make our research better, the WCDRC made a Community Advisory Board (CAB) in 2023. The CAB consists of people who have experience with higher weight status and want to make weight science better for everyone.
The CAB has FOUR open seats and currently meets in-person in Providence, RI for a total of six times a year in 2025-26. Please consider the location when you fill out the eligibility form. All members must be RI residents or employed in RI and live nearby.
Thank you for your interest in joining us for this project. Please go to https://redcap.link/wcdrc.cab to apply!
