Headboard is heavy and very well made. Could not be easily disassembled. Needs to be brought downstairs through a tight spiraling staircase, requires two strong individuals.
Owner is disabled and can not remove. The rest of the bed frame is on the first floor, just the heavy headboard requires work of two strong individuals to move.
As such, is free to whoever takes it out. Served us faithfully for a decade, daughter just outgrew it. Original cost was several hundred, is a really good bed with storage shelves and hidden cubbies. It was loved while in use!
